Otakon Part 3: Some Of The Stuff I Liked!

It took me awhile to get un-pissed off over the stupid crap I experienced enough to resume posting about Otakon. First, I was mad at myself because I said the Walter E White convention center. LMAO. No one noticed this or no one pointed it out, probably because no one reads this blog except for my wife! She’s great, I recommend anyone get married so infinite happiness and a complete lack of actual problems can happen in their lives too. That’s how it is if you have Jesus, anyway. Yeah, I said it, shut up.

I’m posting this to explain what makes these conventions great. I got to meet this beautiful human being, and I’m going to go through the list of what makes this fantastic: It’s friggin’ Abraham Lincoln, and a maid, wearing chucks and carrying a combination hatchet / feather duster.

There’s even more, but I think that’s all I really need to illustrate how fantastic and quirky things like Otakon are. Costumes, masks, and silliness everywhere. To say that you will be crushed under the weight of whimsy experienced at Otakon is an understatement, you will absolutely love the whimsy. I often complain (in general, but also about this) how the words whimsy and whimsical are overused, but they actually apply in this situation.

Not only that, but Maidraham Lincoln was super nice and talked to us for a minute or two even though he was obviously beat down and tired from having one of the most fun costumes in the Walter E White convention center. Guaranteed he wouldn’t push someone with a cane out of the way to get in the gaming hall like an asshole.

Y’all, the people watching and costumes alone are a good reason to go to Otakon, I’m sure this won’t be my last post about this.
