Otakon Part 1: Lets Talk About Fudge
Stolen directly from Copper Coast Confection's Website
This is the first in a series of posts about Otakon. I’m going to keep it light for the first one and go ahead and write a glowing review of the fudge vendor at Otakon this year: Copper Coast Confections
The irony of a fat white dude that regularly attends anime and various other nerd conventions writing a post on his blog about fudge isn’t lost on me by any means, but whatever. I’m not here to defend my stereotypically fat attitude toward fat things and stupid nerd crap. I’m here to talk about fudge.
I had a fudgin’ good time at Otakon…mostly… and I found a fudgin’ good fudge vendor in the dealers hall. I mean holy crapdancing shit, this might have been one of the best vendors in the dealers hall. I’m not saying that they were all bad, but even the ones I love the most (ahem, Retro Saikou, I’m looking at you.) kind of sucked wind this year.
But enough about Retro Saikou’s completely garbage set of offerings this year at Otakon that they dug out of their dumpster or whatever, we’re here to talk about fudge.
You see that picture? That’s Snickers fudge. Take this journey with me, SNICKERS. FUDGE.
And it’s good, too, fella, let me tell you. Fudge this good could turn a furry Sonic fan into a furry Fudge fan. See what I did there? They would then get an entire fursuit made to walk around looking straight up like a giant block of Copper Coast Confection’s fudge.
I also want to note that I didn’t get paid to write this, they have no idea I’m doing it, and I don’t care if they ever know I did it. Just go buy their stupid fudge and put it in your face.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to spark this loud and take a honk off this jaybird then eat some raspberry chocolate truffle fudge that I bought from this vendor.
